Hi Richard, internal users should still be able to view all metadata which can include drop downs with potentially sensitive data as his is required for document numbering, etc. As contractors can edit metadata they can see all drop down options. The idea would be to limit the metadata that only the contractor could see.

Meridian Cloud Portal has the flexibility to show/hide document properties per project type, and per document type. Any sensitive metadata can be hidden in this way.
