Hi,
Currently all packages import and export to Portal are stored on C:\ drive by default. It would be good to be able to change this as some of our customer's are not comfortable with having these files on their C: drive where they should be storing this.
Thanks
Owen
This has been discussed with Pentagon, not a change request.
Hi Chris, Certainly.
When a customer is using Meridian Portal to send documents from Meridian, the documents are placed in a temporary location on the C: drive. I have attached an image to show this location.
One of our customers has complained that the files shouldn't be placed on the C: drive as this drive should be reserved only for the Operating System. This is a normal enough request, but upon logging a support call on how to change where these files are temporarily stored, I received feedback that it is not possible to change this.
I think it would be beneficial if it was configurable.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Owen
Thank you for your suggestion.
Can you help me understand the process you are using and when this default is shown?
This will help clarify where this default is being used and if there are any options to change it.
