I`ve seen in customers like CMPC and GEVISA, in prospects like EINSEMANN and former customer like UNIKLIMA the desire to have a system based checklist for documents. General requirements includes:
- Many check items by checklist type. Common checklist types would be something like "Review Checklist", "HSE/HSSE checklist", "Approve for production checklist " and so on.
- Answers would be usually Yes, No, N/A, but there are some questions that can be free text or list selection
- Checklist are usually attached to workflow states, and can determine if the document can go to another step depending on the checklist answers. So next step options should be limited based in answers
- Checklist items must be randomly sorted otherwise user will get so used to answer it that will not pay attention to the questions.
I do not classify this as a extreme important but its consistent for me that this is a common requirement for people seeking quality in document creation.
