Rendering PDF's with hotspots

Now you can publish AutoCAD files with Hotspots, hotspots are links to other Documents or Objects (Tags).

Hotspots are created via the Application Links declaration in Meridian.

Hotspots links are available if the user is consulting the document via a CAD-viewer.

If you have a PDF-rendition of the same document, in the PDF-rendition there are no hotspot links.

The PDF-rendition should be able to show you to Hotspots also, like in the CAD-viewer and also other hyperlinks that were embedded in the CAD-drawing. Like for instance: the company logo has in AutoCAD an hyperlink pointing to the company website.

Good idea, this will help the user to have a quick find of the object or document.
