Dual Renditions for a Single Original (or Multiple Renditions)

I would like to be able to have multiple renditions for a single file. I want to rendition in color for primary use, and I want Black/White rendition available to be able to use as a base to create redline markups for proposed changes. The color version can be too difficult to see the redline markup, especially when the original lines to be modified are red. I have been unable to find a way to convert the color PDF into black. I have found a way to convert the color gray scale, but some colors turn out too light. I have dozens of users who would benefit from this. Multiple repositories could be utilized to ease access, perhaps the vault could be configured with a 'default' rendition option and then Rendition A, B, C and the repository could be configured to sync a specific rendition. I personally only have need for Color vs Black renditions.

The two page idea would work for me. Not sure how to make that happen with the current configurations.

hello, i am thinking about the same thing. we may implement a two sheet method whereby the rendition engine will print two pages. the first is a color master and the second is a greyscaled sheet that references the first with any redline overlaid on top.

users can scroll to the next page to see the greyscaled redline... perhaps that will help? I am still trying to get the publisher to print multipage pdf and accept it though... help? :)
