We filter our documents to be visible (in the explorer client views) by use of boolean properties.
Because of a long history going back to Cyco Teamwork and later upgrades to Meridian we did not have those properties for earlier revisions of the documents.
I would like to see that an administrator can set these (boolean)properties to true on earlier revisions. Now these documents are not visible in the revisions.
Or (when a document is visible in a view) all prior releases are visible too in the explorer client.
Hi Rudi,
As long as we can put a filter on the current document to be visible in a view and show all earlier versions in the revisions tab of that view too that would be great.
I think that is the solution to our problem right now.
Property values for previous revisions cannot be changed, this is fundamental to the design of Meridian.
There can be reasons that particular revisions of document should not be visible in Explorer, so in general we should apply the filters to all revisions individually.
A way to address this could be to add an option 'Ignore filter conditions for previous revision' on a View. This would then apply to all documents in the view. Would this address the issue?
