As a Power user I want to be able to look at/view two documents at the same time

As Power user I must regularly assess for example a plan and a detail drawing or two P&ID's drawings.

In Meridian Power or even Explorer I cannot do that because only one document can be shown/viewed at the same time. The workaround is to start a 2nd Meridian session on my 2nd monitor but this is very cumbersome. I want to be able to open multiple windows in one Power User session. This will make my life a lot easier.

By accident I found out that it is possible to view multiple documents at the same tim in Power.

Just right-click on the native or rendition preview button at the bottom of the property pane of the document. There you will be able to select "open in new window". A new window will open and show the document. In the first window change your selection and repeat (works multiple times). You now have two (or more) drawings open at the same time.

Rudi Pieters Jul 27, 2018 Two questions: 1. PowerUser or PowerWeb? 2. Would it always be 2 documents, or could there be more?

Ludwig Jurriëns Feb 4, 2019 This applies to power user, but actually also to explorer user. In power user you can migrate the preview in a different window and look at other properties of your document and switch to another document (the other window updates accordingly) In explorer it is actually worse, there you can only watch the preview and that is it. You have to close first to be able to continue. Or use multiple tabs on your browser or multiple browserwindows.
