Currently we have to print pdf outside of Meridian with all layers on in AutoCAD. Then go into pdf and hide the layers, then set the default state to off. Once that step has been completed then in Meridian, we have to edit > attach rendition. If hiding the layers and setting default state within Meridian, it would reduce steps of having to print AutoCAD drawings outside of Meridian and then upload / attach as rendition.
