Documentation Vault Should Have Region Facility Setup and Permission limits like As-Builts

Currently, the Masters and Archive vaults utilize the Region/Facility hierarchy for files. Documentation does not follow this as if you have site specific documentation, you would want to limit who can see this, similar to how the Master Vault permissions work. The Global settings does not follow the same concept as it is not sub-divided like the As-Builts permissions. It would be useful to separate documentation out by region/facility and limit permissions to the folder.

    Hi Marco,

The Documentation branch is intended to manage all kinds of generic documents for all kinds of users. There are three type of users for the Documentation branch i.e. viewers, editors and managers.

Region and Site are not required fields for Generic Document types and therefor can not be used for specific user groups. You can also create a specific project type if you want to manage specific documents for specific groups/departments/facilities

    Kind regards,

I agree since Region and Facility are required fields.
