Meridian Power - Roles - Remove delete authorization from Document Controller role.
We have a lot of document controllers within the same region (same security). All of them can delete documents. Once a document is deleted, it is gone and it is not possible to get a notification of the deletion and it is difficult to undelete the document.
It would be great if we can remove the delete authorization from the Document Controller role or if there is a second Document Controller role without the delete authorization.
We ask the Document Controllers to retire obsolete documents, but deleting is still an option and the risk is to high to lose important documents.

In my opinion this doesn't exists. We want to prevent document controllers from deleting released master documents. Only the administrator should be able to do this. Document controllers must retire master documents. Project documents are not an issue.

Hi,
This is about documents that reside in Project and in Power.
Even if we constrain the number of document controllers, they still have the ability to delete document.

Are the documents controller deleting document in Project or in Masters? Document Controller access in project can be controlled by linking the project in Power to a project in Portal. In Portal you can define individual Document Controllers or groups of Document Controllers
