Generate new documents based on document type syntax

As an Engineering I would like to create new Project and Generic documents based on the document number syntax. We configured the document number sequence in Meridian Cloud configuration and applies it for Facility, Project and Generic Document types.

    Can you help us with some clarification?

    In the current release of Meridian Cloud, users are able to create documents from templates. Is this what the idea requests?

    Also, what is meant by ‘syntax’ in the title?

    Doe that mean with a certain naming convention for the newly created document?
