As a PWC user, I would like to have the ability to send documents by email

Scenario
On PUC, it's possible to send documents or renditions by email, in PWC this is not possible.
Expected Result
We would like to be able to send documents via PWC to email users, an alternative would be adding the document / Rendition to the system clipboard, by this way, users would be able to paste/attach the document on his email client

Rudi Pieters Dec 3, 2018 The way we do it now in PowerUser (integration in local Email client) is not feasible in web. I see two approaches: 1. Send server-side (like notifications) Pro: no dependency on workstation. Con: recipient list will be different from the one in local email client. 2. Integrate with local email client through the LWS client: Pro: familiar email environment. Con: more complex and error-prone.
Coen Vromans Dec 4, 2018 Users can already download and attach documents with the PowerWeb client or Explorer client. In general I'm not in favour of downloading documents because you loose track of what happens to the documents. A better approach would be to send a link to the requested documents. Meridian Explorer has great capabilities to send e-mail notifications with URL reference links to the requested documents.
