Partner had a performance issue when using the search feature, taking 2 minutes to load before being shown.

The registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Cyco\AutoManager Meridian\CurrentVersion\WebLink\Published Locations\<ID>\CollectExisting = 0 solved his issue and as a result, this is the feedback and request received from Ronald:

I've just checked the registry key on the customers environment and indeed this fixes the loading issue.

I'd rather see this value be default 0 instead of apparently 1 now . The customer also has a search field in the Preferred for Search which is unique per document. The vault has over 400k documents so when the CollectExisting is doing its thing it will record values of 400k documents. This is insane if you ask me and indeed explains why so many loading time is needed.

When set the key to 0 only the properties which have a table or lookuplist connected work properly. Except fields which are connect to a table with script and using a Document object property (which is not set in the search function).

So once I create a new repository we must not forget the set the key to 0. Is there a way to get it default on 0 (so having the key not present at all?)

So, as you can see, he would like to have the ability to setup the default to 0, to avoid performance issues.
