Actually, a lots of people use the hybrid for other purposes. I understand what it was meant for, but many of us have used this feature further. So it would be nice to consider the clients need and not only the original purpose of the function.

The purpose of hybrid files in PowerWeb is to embed the hybrid file as a background or underlayer for drawings. the hybrid and parent drawing are rendered together and can be viewed in a single rendition.
