Configure property mapping for office applications by documenttype

To increase performance it would be nice to be able to define propertymapping per documenttype for office applications. If .you have many properties mapped in application link settings for office, this will decrease performance of all office documents even if it's only a few documents (of given type) that will actually need this mapping.

Propertymapping slows down the following operations (all operations that has titleblockupdate turned on). Typical update time here is around 30 seconds with propertyupdates and 2 seconds without update:

    - Creating a new document from Template

    - Every worklowtransition

    Thank you for your suggestion.

Can you help us understand the current performance impact?  For example, does property mapping slow down the displaying, opening, saving of documents by X seconds or percent.  This will help us understand the magnitude of the impact.

Also, how often does this become an issue with users?
