As a Meridian Admin, I would like to ignore some extensions on BCThumbnailGen.exe tool

Submitted by Juliano Correa on behalf of Don Hodges.

Nowadays, when you configure the thumbnail generation job, it will try to create thumbnail for all documents, as a Meridian admin, to save time and focus on what is important I would like to ignore some extensions.

It would be great if I could define it on registry, or via some .ini file.

Thank you again for your suggestion.

Can you please clarify if you’re looking to save time for the Admin user whose workstation may be busy while the thumbnails are being generated?
Or, are you looking to save time on the server so that the most important thumbnails are refreshed as soon as possible?
