Collect all ideas about type ahead filtering of drop-down lists in one single idea

The are a large number of ideas about this subject (going back to more then 3 years) and nothing has been done on this very "hot" issue.
Every user struggle's with Meridian Powerweb dropdown list behavior and nothing has been done with it (what is the timeline for "Future consideration"??).
It's a major issue in the Meridian web-interface.

    I put ideas in 'Planned' when they are firmly allocated to a release. In the 2nd half of 2022 we will investigate UI control libraries to enable this.
    In the meantime please see: https://meridian.hashnode.dev/how-to-add-property-list-search-functionality-to-power-web-interface. In Meridian 2022 we will be adding support for such customization without having to hack the PowerWeb javascript.
