Description
In de explorer client (2018R2) the customer have the option by export metadata (report) to excel for ALL or selected items. If they choose all the max of ltems is always 1000.
Cause:
It is a limit of the product.
The desire is to expand the number of imported items, to a variables user setting and more than 1000

Rudi Pieters Jan 8, 2019 This was introduced to avoid slowdown of the system because a user (erroneously? ) selects a very large batch of documents. If for some reason (e.g. importing into another system) export of a very large batch is required, a Publisher job is more appropriate.
