It Would be Helpful to Have a Tool to Generate XOD Files for PDFTron in Bulk

After import or migration it would be helpful to be able to pre-generate XOD files. Otherwise, they are generated on the fly and can take some time to complete.  Additionally, while they are generating, the user has no indication why the file isn't viewing.

Hi Rudi, I was meaning for Current files. But the ability to do that for outdated versions would be great. Thanks for the work around Aaron.

It's not exactly what you're after, but we get around this by creating a rendering job with no rendering profile enabled, set the rendering job to use existing renditions and publish outdated renditions, and set the [Other] file extension to "Publish unrendered".

Once migration is complete, we publish all migrated documents with this rendering job. The documents are processed very quickly because  the rendering job is only calling PDFTron to create the .xod files.

Does this also relate to outdated versions? At the moment a custom tool could be created for current versions, but not for outdated ones. We are looking into this issue and and hope to be able to come up with a solution in the Meridian 2021 release.
