It would be very useful if the current username could be added to the log entries in the log.txt file stored under the Log Files folder. This would be with resolving user related issues.
There is a Log.txt File stored in the c:\inetpub\wwwroot\M360.Meridian\api\v3\LogFiles for the Meridian Mobile webapi. This logs various items. When assisting users with issues it would be great if this log file reported the user that that raised the exception. Currently it is a pretty raw dump of exception information. sometimes it is due to permissions issues however this is not always reported to the end user so it would be helpful to identify the user that causes the exception.
This idea is not entirely clear. Meridian stores the username in multiple locations in and log files. Can you elaborate a little bit more on this idea? Where do you need the log file for and what kind of user related issues do you want to resolve?
Hi Marco,
Thanks for the explanation. It's clear now, this requests makes sense. I'll promote your idea to a Story for the Roadmap.
