GENERIC DOCUMENT may require multiple reviewers on it's workflow however this is currently not allowed, and multiple reviews must be carried out sequentially. It should be possible to send a GENERIC DOCUMENT for concurrent review in the same way a FACILITY DOC is.
For the particular customer this is affecting, the workflow it uses isn't all that important, as long as they are able to send to multiple reviewers.
However, in line with another Idea I raised, I do think that all the document types should be on the advanced workflow so their is consistency in action as well as visually when actually viewing the workflow.
Again for this particular customer, the eSignatures would not be important to them and we would not activate this for them on this document type anyway.
Hi Nick, thank you for the observation in the documentation. Would you prefer the Generic Document to use the more advanced workflow as we use for Facility Document? If so, would you need eSignatures on the Review and approval steps for Generic Documents?
Regards,
Coen
On further investigation the Cloud documentation suggests this is actually possible, however in practice it is not. Not sure if the config or the documentation is incorrect.
