The implementation of a new event that is triggered when when a download is about to happen seems like a reasonable request.

When using this event, can you also share with us what kind of selection criteria you are looking to apply?

For example, are you concerned with the sheer number of documents that are about to be downloaded, or documents from a certain project, or the role of the user triggering the download, or something else?
