Automatically display Source if Rendition is not available

If, for whatever reason, a rendition of the document is not available but the source is, the viewer should automatically switch to view the source.  This would allow user to view the document without an error being thrown in the event a rendition is not available.  Alternatively, it would be useful if the "Property Page" could be set to show the rendition or the source by default.

      Can you help me better understand the situation? Depending on the answers, the response to the original request will vary.

      Which Meridian client is being referenced, PowerWeb or Explorer?

      Is the source document already a PDF, or is it a CAD / Office document?

      Also, what version of Meridian is currently being used?
