In theory, documents being rendered are marked with a small red padlock, but this is not always the case (see enclosed).

Documents that are currently locked by the rendering server should be clearly highlighted to prevent users from desperately looking for context-sensitive commands that are disabled during this process.

This would also help to highlight renderings that fail.
