Package import of documents has no option to Automatically Name Documents

Hi,


I would like to automatically name documents imported as a batch using the package method, but there is no option for this. Can this option be added?

    Migration options are targeting legacy data. For importing contractor documents it is better to use Portal as the in between step.

    Hi Coen,


    Yes, I am referring to the 'Import Packages' which are used for importing documents into the Meridian Cloud repository or Meridian On-Prem Vault. There is no option to allow the calculation of the document filename, during import, this would be useful for customers who will retain the contractors filename in another property for searching but want the imported files to meet their standard naming conventions.

    Can you elaborate a little bit more on the automatic document naming for batch imported documents with the package method? With package method, do you mean the transmittal packages in Meridian Portal? Do you need to keep the document file name in another property?
